There’s a point in time where a business starts to take off and a mad dash for a logo happens. Luckily, we had enough time to do a good job, and Jerry knew what he wanted—or at least what he didn’t want; a monkey. So, we took it to the source of guitar and bass tone and pulled a riff off an amp tube, with some bold type, and electric bolts and boom, looks as good as it should sound if you could plug it in.

Like many businesses, Guitar Chimp started in a basement in 2006. Having played in bands for over 20yrs, founder Jerry has been buying and selling gear for decades.
